The Charles Stockstrom Mansion, more commonly known as the Magic Chef Mansion, was built in 1908 for Charles Stockstrom, one of the founders of Quick Meal Stove Company, which was ultimately rebranded as Magic Chef Stoves. Designed by German-trained St. Louis architect Ernst Janssen in the Chateaesque style, the house remained in the original family until 1990, after which it was meticulously restored by the current owner. Starting in 2007, the mansion has also become available for social functions.
