Kizhakkekara is the eastern part of Muvattupuzha Town. Starts from the thriveni sangamam (where thodupuzha river joins randar to form Muvattupuzha) and ends at Randar.

  • One of the Early Ramakrishna Ashramas (Maths) was founded here by Swami Nirmalananda who built a Math on land donated by the House of Puthanpurayil in 1931. An ideal place to spend some quiet minutes and gets mentally recharged.
  • Yea, and the land was donated to Belur Math on whose behalf Swami Nirmalananda accepted it. The Ashrama has been a sub-centre of Ramakrishna Math at Tiruvalla for many years and since Dec. 2005 it is a sub-centre of Belur Math, under Ramakrishna Advaita Ashrama, Kalady. A nice place on a little hillock like raised land
