Once one of the last four Albertsons in Florida. This store, #4301, opened 40 years ago as Skaggs-Albertsons, with Albertsons continuing to operate it after 1978, making it both the first and one of the last Albertsons in Florida. In spring 2015, it was announced that the store would be closing, sparking speculation that Albertsons was finally ready to pull out of the Florida market, but it was followed by an announcement that the last three would be remodeled.
