"The Nenggiri Challenge, an annual, international sporting event, is bound to get your adrenaline pumping and at the same time amazes you with some of the most fascinating sights of nature.
For three days, participants will traverse down the naturally scenic Nenggiri River through a series of challenging rapids, using rubber dinghies and kayaks. Starting from Gua Cha [Kuala Betis], which is a renowned prehistoric cave, the river will take all participants along breathtaking views of serene tropical rainforest, majestic limestone outcrops, aboriginal settlements and the new Kelah fish sanctuary....
The entire race stretches to an estimated total of 40 km. The first day's race will end with an overnight stop at Pos Pulat....The finishing point is set at a tranquil Malay village known as Kampung Setar."
