Now officially knowned as the Sultan Ahmad Shah Golf Club. An 18-hole public golf course run by the Cameron Highlands District Office. Many say that it has the cheapest golf membership fee in Malaysia.

The Cameron Highlands Golf Course was established in 1935 as a 9-hole course, to cater for the Europeans staying in the area and holidaymakers.

Most of the Europeans had left the highlands by the 70's, but the golf course remained popular with the locals. It was expanded to an 18-hole course in 1974. The new club house was officially opened by the Sultan of Pahang, Sultan Ahmad Shah, on February 7, 2010.

  • A lovely 18 hole course. Got my first birdie on the 16th 129 yards! You never forget where you make your fist birdie We played 17 holes in beautiful sunshine, and then the monsoon came. The new club house is under construction, and when its finished should make the club complete.
