  The current official name is Dryopi, an older name was Kato Fanari, cince a part of residents from the nearby village Ano Fanari were mooved downwards to lower altitude,so it became the name "Kato"(=down)& "Ano"(=up)Fanari to distinguish the villages (Fanari=light-source,lighthouse) .With regard to the name "Kash" i've never heard or red about it.
