  • Iwas born and broughtup in Jeypore. Past 38 years I have been living at Mumbai. Still my love for Jeypore has not diminished a bit. Iam an Andhra but most of my child hood friends are Oriyas. We never had ill feeling towards each other. It is very unfortunate that some raja used a very foul and ill mannered language towards andhras. Hope he would understand the greatness of Jeypore and how people live there as one family. Very close to my househere there is a oriya samaj. Maharashtrians never take any objection. In fact some times I go there and feel quite homely.Iam well settled, children are doing well abroad and still Jeypore is my first love. and I propose to visit Jeypore in a couple of months, just to show this beautiful place to my wife. We both are retired. Some Rajas comments disturbed me very much.Hopehe would not kill me if I go there....
  • December last week of 2008, I visited Jeypore with my wife and the old charm has remained intact. People still continue to be good. Stayed at RK Towers. A wonderful hotel and beautiful experience. . Town roads need improvement. Thank you all my Jeypore friends and the old buddies Chander rao, Simanchal Hota, gentle young Ravi and Sweeet Pinky who all walked that extra mile to make our visit really exciting. Visit to Gupteswar was thrilling. Thank you my Jeypore. Sweet memories......Dr. G. Motilal
