Maithri Nagar was formed in the year 1989 on the Vijaya Dasami Day and registered under charitable society act.(Reg. No.999/89)There are about 57 families staying in this Nagar. The Officers from ISRO, Technopark, SBI, SBT, BSNL, Indian Railway,Central and State Government etc. are among them. Maithri Association has got its own Office Building and Mini Hall in this Nagar. Dance, Music etc. classes are regularly going on here. There is a strong group of people in this Nagar and they are doing good services to the inmates as well as to the neighboring colonies. The yearly elected Ex. Committee is giving the leadership for this kind of services. Annual Day, Onam, X'mas etc. are celebrating and all the members are enjoying life here.
