USA / California / Mojave /
place with historical importance, interesting place, ghost town

Former mining camp in the early 1900s, populated by mine and railroad workers who used refrigerated boxcars ("reefers") as temporary housing. There is not much left behind except for a walkway to a long-gone front door and random junk scattered around the site.
