Small village ,with distinctive and respectable people ,following the Hindu Religion and feel the presence of Goddess viz DHURKAI AMMAN ,MUTHALAMMAN ,KALIAMMAN and CHINNAMMAN. Muslims and Christians are also living there.This village is surrounded by coconut,cashewnut,mango ,amla farms and paddy ,sugarcane fields, which make the village fertile.It is at the easternside foot-hill of the KODAIKKANAL HILLS and another gateway on the ghat-road to Kodaikkanal.I really love my native place .
