Pantai Acheh is a suburb within the city of George Town. It encompasses the western shoreline of Penang Island between Teluk Bahang to the north and Balik Pulau to the south, about 14.7km west of the city centre.

Pantai Acheh is a quiet suburb that relies on fisheries and agriculture as its mainstays. The Sheikh Tahir Observatory is sited here and is where the sighting of the new moon is conducted at the end of Ramadhan (the fasting month in the Islamic calendar).
