Vulcănești (Romanian pronunciation: [vulkəˈneʃtʲ]; Gagauz: Valkaneş; Albanian: Valkoneshta) a town in Gagauzia, Moldova. The Vulcănești area is the southern exclave of Gagauzia surrounded by the Cahul District (Moldova) and Odessa Region (Ukraine).
