Formerly the Maltz Opera House, this historic building is now home to the State Theater (motion pictures), along with other offices and shops. Though now having been used for motion pictures for many decades, the original opera house's stage, orchestra floor, and balcony arrangement survived until the early 1990s. The building is now subdivided into five smaller film screening theaters, but the building's original use as an opera house is still visually evident by the fly loft towering to over three stories in the rear center portion of the building.
