ಐಟಿಐ ಬಹು-ಉಪಯೋಗಿ ಕ್ರೀಡಾಂಗಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಎರಡು ದಶಕಗಳ ಹಿಂದೆ ಹೊನಲುಬೆಳಕಿನ ಬ್ಯಾಸ್ಕೆಟ್ಬಾಲ್, ವಾಲಿಬಾಲ್ ಮತ್ತು ಕಬಡ್ಡಿ ಪಂದ್ಯಾವಳಿಗಳನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿತ್ತು. ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್ 1991ರಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಮಟ್ಟದ ಹಾಕಿ ಪಂದ್ಯಾವಳಿಯನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಲಾಯಿತು. ದೂರದರ್ಶನದಲ್ಲಿ ನೇರಪ್ರಸಾರವಿತ್ತು. ಈ ಕ್ರೀಡಾಂಗಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂದು ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ್ ಪಂದ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೂ ಆಡಬಹುದಾಗಿದೆ.
ITI Ltd. Multipurpose Stadium used to host floodlit tournaments in Basketball, Volleyball and Kabaddi two decades ago. A National Level Hockey tournament was held here in December 1991 and was telecast live on Doordarshan. This stadium now hosts cricket matches too.
