Malshej Waterfall 1200' on Kalu river

This is very famous waterfall. Total height is about 1200'. Dropping in five patches. This waterfall is first time Rappelled down by the group of "Camp Fire India", a well known organisation of Maharashtra in October 1993 under the leadership of Arun Sawant. Every year in October and November this organisation is taking rappelling camps for newcomers. After rappel down the first two patches of 600', the participants use to stay on the open rock patch. Next day they have to cross next three patches to reach the base.
