Who is the owner of this hospital? In some records this hospital is Mahajubilee Hospital, whereas some records shows Jubilee Memorial hospital? Is it related to "Christ Jayanti 2000" or any other living or dead person's "Jubilee" memorial? Please clarify.

Thank you, Mr. Philip K Thomas. We have a lot of elderly priests Fr. Parappallil, Fr. Nellikunnath -Pandankary, Fr. Pathiparambil - Pandankary, Fr. Mundakathil - Edathua, etc. from our place, but young priests are not there. Why is it so?

Now a days mainly the parents are not interested to send their children for the priesthood. Most of the families are having one or two children. One son and one daughter, or only one son. They think that if they send their only one son for priesthood the family's expansion get blocked and no one will be there to keep up the name of there family. We cannot blame them, everybody give first preference to there family. I am also included in this category. Previously there were many children including boys and girls in a family. At that time parents also took interest to send there children for priesthood. I have many priests in my family. But I know, still some boys and girls taking there own interest and going for this. We can say only less numbers are going for the priesthood comparing to the past.

that may be a reason, but not the main reason behind this. motivation is the main pushing or pulling force for a boy/girl to embrace that divine call. in our families that motivation force is lacking. now-a-days, we are money oriented. we don't value human life. we list money above all other things. our people have to change their basic mentality. we can have more and more people into the religious. we had a lot of young priests served in our parish, like Frs. Raju Koippally, (late) Joseph Mathur (died in Agra in an accident), Jacob Aiyammathara, Thomas Kochelechengalam, Christi, Thomas PUnnassery, Shaji Thumpechirayil..... etc. From the religious people's part, there was enough motivation.... but as I said earlier, the motivation from the family is not there.....
