This junction is named after the well known business man in Kollam - Late Janab.C.K Shahudeen Musaliar .His residence(CKS New Bunglow) can be seen along side the junction.junction has witnessed so many debuts about the political and non political issues.the youths daily time pass area is only this junction.in 1990-1998 there were discussions and arguments ongoing subjectless.playing card is the most of the youth habbits in this coastal area. 28(gulan perishu)is the well known play for the people.
those who fail in this play they will have to wear kunukku up to they reach to wear neck chain(maala).it is made by thengola.
