  • Bangarupalem or Bangarupalyam is a small town on the way from Chittoor district headquarters, Chittoor to Bengaluru (Karnataka state) or to Gudiyatham (Tamilnadu state) via Palamaneru. The main agricultural produce is mango and rice. The place is comparetiively fertile and green. The local zamindars are generous and have constructed and managed a High School in the heart of Chittoor town, more than 80 years back. Pilgrimes from Karnataka and Tamilnadu going to Arthagiri Hanuman Temple in Aragonda (Appolo Hospital) and Kanipakkam Ganesh Temple and then to Tirupathi/Thirumala can take short-cut route from B.Palyam.

Teaches i remember are Narayana Reddy (social studies), Hemalatha Madam (PET), Roopalatha Madam (science), Suryaprakash sir, Kondaiah sir (Maths), Jamunarani Madam..... i studied during 1989-94. presently i am working at Apollo Medical Center ITPL, Bangalore.
