  • A GM Powertrain manufacturing plant, also known as Allison Transmissions, opened in White Marsh in 2000. The facility has 370 employees. GM officials said its opening in 2000 was meant to soften the blow of the eventual closing of the aging Broening Highway plant in Dundalk.
  • Plant closed in 2019 or so, but I went there a few months ago (2021) and it looked like everything was being kept up. cars in the parking lot, grass mowed, signs out front for employee parking. I don't know what this means, but I hope this factory isn't out of the game for good.
