The Cardinal Gibbons School was a Catholic secondary school for boys, grades 6 through 12, staffed by the Chrisitian Brothers. The school occupies the campus of the former St. Mary's Industrial School for Boys which was opened by the Archdiocese of Baltimore in 1866. George Herman "Babe" Ruth attended St. Mary's Industrial School for Boys.
Cardinal Gibbons School was closed 2010. The campus was bought in 2012 by St. Agnes Hospital.
