A very famous ancient Shiva temple in Yamkeshwar known as Yamkeshwar Mahadev temple on the right bank of a small mountain rivulet SATERI. Legend says Lord Shiva defeted Yam (God of death) at this place and Got another name YAMKESHWAR (Yam ke Ishwar)means Lord of Yama.
This picturesque place is a pilgrims delight.
