Mussau, in the New Ireland Province of Papua new Guinea, is the largest island in the St Matthias Group (414 km²), and the northernmost island in Papua New Guinea. It's highest point is 615m above sea-level. A number of smaller adjacent islands (Elouera, Emananus and others) are part of the Mussau subgroup.

    I have tried to edit the rather bad polygon on this place, but every time the message comes up, "Polygon is too big. Reduce its size". A meaningless message - as if one is accurately outline a feature, the polygon must match this size of the feature.
