It is market centre for tribal and other villages about 10 Kms radius.Main productivity is paddy and food grains like black grams ,green grams etc. Vengalaraya Sagar canal increased the paddy production.Devlopment is very slow and having all types of comunities with various professions.Long back SBI and Sri Visakha Grameena banks were established.Speciality of this village is that nobody wants development and they believe solo leadership.Having a police station which was esatablished very long back and no problems in maintaining law order as people are very soft.Business comunity is very rich and they hide their properties and they don't go for better development. Village is connected with Bobbili(30/15Km),Salur(19Km) and Prvathipuram (30Km) by road with the aid of APS RTC buses,autos and zeeps. Village could not be able produce high level delegates.

  • Hi, I studied in Makkuva ZP high School from 1974-1979 (6th to Xth standard). i used to come to Makkuva from Kasipatnam village i.e. 4 kms far and daily by walk I sued to come to this school for 5 years. it was good experience.
