Several aboveground storage tanks were once located near an outcropping of rocks. The tanks have been removed and only concrete footings remain. Navy maps obtained during a records search indicate that the tanks contained fresh water, salt water, gasoline, and diesel fuel. These tanks were part of a distillation facility used by the US Navyavy to produce fresh water.
