 production  Add category

This giant building has overlooked Cumberland for more than half a century. Built a few years before the outbreak of World War II, it served to manufacture Airplane parts. In the years following, it was used as a Bar/Club for the local men. With its high elevation on Wills Mountain, Artmor became the first place in Cumberland to have cable television. In February of 2003, a portion of the building collapsed while no one was occupying it. The damage was repaired and Artmor Plastics now makes plastic bowls and other household products. A museum of the building's history and the life of Arthur Morgan is open between 8am and 4pm Mon-Fri.

  • Building has been vacant for several years. Vandals have been breaking into it and it was set on fire November 11, 2015. Sad end to an interesting business. https://vimeo.com/145479164
