In this place there used to be a huge bunglow that belonged to Ashoka Betel Nut Group.It was bought by Cheran Group in mid 80's and they built a corporate cum residential high rise building but never got completed and ICICI Bank occupied the bottom floor while the remaining floors still remain jinxed(incompete & unoccupied).
