Freedom Lake Park is managed by the Park Division of Public Works of the city of Pinellas Park.

Freedom Lake Park has everything to have a good day: grills, Pavillions, picnic tables among other amenities plus it has “covered outside fitness stations” (Personal: I have used them.) Even more, has a “Korean War Memorial” and if you have a dog, it has a “dog park” for both, small and large dogs.

  • Very nice park. Lake is beautiful. Playground for the kids. Two separate dog parks for big dogs and small dogs. Pavilions can be reserved for gatherings. There's a tribute here to all of the military service branches, and a special Korean war memorial. Nice large American flag. Park is visible from 19 and from 49th street, but to access it you have to turn east at the traffic light on 49th st just north of 19, then take a quick right and follow the signs thru that neighborhood.
