Beautiful lake by the side of NH 4
This road (old Madras road) will be the shortest route to Chennai soon which is of just 290KM and should be ready by 2013 it seems. It came in the news sometime in March 2011. This is going to be a new raod from Bangalore via KR Puram, Hosakote, Malur, Koar... to Chennai... Hopefully India will make better progress with all these developments... :-)

  • Vengahiana Kere
  • so far as well as not having any place to sit on ground n graasses.......
  • It's not Worth to Pay 90/- for adult and 50/- for kids. Not a good place to visit. Off course the lake is in good condition but the rest of surroundings is pathetic. The price is too high for public to visit a park and also the children play area is too small. Not a good choice for evening walkout, very boring place. Recommend not to visit this place.
  • I believe its not a park meant for common citizens like you and me... its more for love birds who need seclusion and do not mind paying 90/- per head... i always wonder is this BBMP/ Govt approved rate...
  • Not a good place to visit 90 rs fare per head and 60rs for pedal boat only 30 min ride please don't go its very costly waste of money
  • i have been to this lake its place were spend a time with loved onces its compeletly far from crowd.
  • Visiting this lake without reviewing others experiences was one of the blunders. Rs.90 as the entrance fee is like a loot in the day light. Because the people managing this place collect entrance fees even after knowing their quality of arrangements. The main highlight of this lake is boating without proper facilities (life jackets, ill cinditioned boats, drunken people manning those boats) and above all the management team who doesn't has the common sense to speak to visitors or guests. Saddest part is those people are not from karnataka n doesn't have any decency in their talks.
  • Worst place to visit. No basic facilities like life jackets for people going for boating. Drunk and irresponsible staff. They don't even know to speak good language. We were very disappointed when we visited this place with kids. Moreover spent close to 600 bucks as entrance fee just to get abused by the staff for asking refund, in a rowdy style. Not good place for decent people.
