ZKU - The High Power Laboratory (HPL) ZKRATOVNA is an independent LV and HV electric heavy-current equipment test laboratory with long-time tradition, providing heavy-current electrical type, development and validation test of circuit breakers, switch-disconnectors, disconnectors, contactors, fuses, switchboards, power and instrument transformers, transformer substations, reactors, resistors, surge-arresters, bushings, power cables and cable accessories, insulator fittings and strings for more than 50 years.
The HPL has for its testing activities accreditation according to ČSN EN ISO/IEC 17025. The accreditation was made by the Czech Accreditation Institute CAI, which is a member of the European Association for Accreditation.
