Founded at Auke Bay in 1951, USCG Station Juneau is a small boat station which consolidated its quarters with the HQ for USCG Sector Juneau at this location in 1978. Presently operating a single 47ft Motor Lifeboat and three 25ft Defender Class Boats, USCG Station Juneau conducts approximately 100-150 search and rescue cases and 300 law enforcement boarding's per year.
