A small historical town located on the World War II fame Stillwell road and only 12 Km. away from International border with Myanmar. During World War II the allied forces nick named it as Hell Gate as during war time armed personals going beyond this town towards Burma had been having a tough time due to dense forests, killer mosquitoes, leeches etc.
