Mugu Rock

The Mugu Rock is a distinctive feature of the coastal promontory that has been featured in hundreds of film shoots and television commercials. The Rock was formed when a path for the Pacific Coast Highway was cut through the mountain. It is a popular but dangerous place for fishing, sight seeing, and cliff diving.

  • Gibraltar of the West Coast! Not really, but, ever since I was a kid I thought it looked like a minature version of the Rock of Gibraltar.
