Comments

  • This is NOT Chiswick Park! It's Chiswick House Grounds or Chiswick House Gardens. The latter name is likely to be used in future following the creation of the Chiswick House and Gardens Trust to restore and manage the whole site. Chiswick Park is (a) an Underground station, and (b) a business park, both of which are about 1.5 km north-west of Chiswick House, and are already correctly marked on this map.
  • Few photos of this really interesting place http://www.flickr.com/photos/sigizmund/tags/chiswickhouseandgrounds/page2/
  • When I was a lad (born in Chiwick over 60 years ago it was always known as Chiswick House Park, Chiswick House or just the "Park" . A rose still smells as sweet under any othere name.
  • Jonmel48, thanks for sharing this lovely memory.
