Pierres Noires ( "Black Rocks") lighthouse, built between 1867 and 1871.
It secures and lights Saint Mathieu fore land and path since May 1st 1872.
In 1872 mineral oil was used as light fuel, then lamp-oil vapors in 1903, electricity was used as from 1984.
Automated since 1992, it is remotely controlled from Créac'h lighthouse (Ouessant Island).
