In Local language this is called Puligundu (tiger rock). This is a huge Granite Hill potruded to the sky. It is a tourist attraction also. Locals visit in thousands on 16th January every year to celebrate 4th day of Makara Sankranthi. There is a Shiva temple at the eastern side of the hill and also a Ayyapa temple is under construction at the top of the Hill. Mr.Gyanedra Reddy from Pulikallu Village, who was a Member of parliament, actively involved in this temple construction.
