Liverpool’s seafaring heritage brought to life in the historic Albert Dock. The museum’s collections reflect the international importance of Liverpool as a gateway to the world, including the city’s role in the transatlantic slave trade and emigration, the merchant navy and the Titanic.

The Museum is part of National Museums Liverpool.

On the top floor is the International Museum of Slavery.

Opening times
Open daily 10am-5pm.
Closed - 24 December (from 2pm) and all day on 25, 26 December and 1 January.

Both museums are free to enter.
