Gold mine that operated from 1902 to 1955, then again as an open pit from 1987 to 1996. Nearby are the restored buildings of the Mascot mine, perched on the side of a cliff 1000 metres above the town of Hedley. A fascinating place to visit, but not for those afraid of heights!!!
