The Sapphire of Istanbul is the tallest building in Istanbul's Levent main business district and the fourth tallest building in all of Istanbul and Turkey. It was constructed from 2006 to 2010. The tower has 54 floors and 10 basement floors and reaches the above ground structural height of 238 metres (261 metres including its antenna). The cost of the project is $175,000,000.

The building has a gross floor area of 175,000 square metres, with the retail facility covering 90,000 sq m and the residential tower covering 85,000 sq m. The top 4 of the 10 basement floors are used as part of the retail area and the lower 6 is used as parking space. The building offers 22 different types of residential flats, with a total of 156 residential units. The floor at 33.5 m has a panoramic swimming pool, a fitness centre, and a spa. At the 163 m floor is a panoramic golf field. There are specialized floors which have private gardens every 3 floors, and every 9 floors are separated from each other by a communal living area or mechanical floors.

The tower is the first ecological skyscraper in Turkey, making optimum use of natural resources. The foundation pit excavated for the project, 42.5 metres deep, is the deepest foundation pit excavated for any structure in Turkey.
