Copper works factory, treating copper ore for the KGHM SA. The Legnica Copper Smelter was KGHM's first smelter, producing copper in the form of cathodes using traditional shaft furnace technology and through the process of electrorefining. The electrolytically-refined copper from the Legnica smelter is used to manufacture round billets.
