Sir, we have learnt about you and your involvement in pioneering various educational schemes directly or as a partner with various NGOs by providing Financial Assistance to economically backward/physically handicap more particularly blind students. Your generous contribution to the Trust is exempted from Income tax read with Section 80(G) of Income Tax Act, 1961.With this Contribution Trust is planning to Distribute Scholarship to these Blind Students under the Scheme titled "Literacy Mission for Blind & awareness of Educational Support". Sir, Vidya Vikasa Trust was established in January 2002. The Trust is registered as a Charitable Trust. It is also registered under the section 12A Indian Income Tax 1961. To enable Indian donors to VVT to claim tax credit in India, VVT is also registered under the section 80G of the Indian Income Tax Act, 1961.The 80G Tax number is 01/04/2007 to 31/03/2010 is basically striving hard for a commitment to the cause of the education of the economically weaker sections of students' community particularly for Blind Students Education by Providing Financial Assistance in various Forms with the help of Public Donations. While visually impaired Student will complete his / her education with Donor's Financial Assistance, the Donor in India gets Income-Tax exemptions benefits under 80(G) of Income-Tax Act 1961 In order to spread literacy every year from 1974 Vidya Vikasa Trust has created a Blind Students Scholarship Fund A/c from the coaching Normal Students 150 to 175 charging lowest Tuition fee & the Financial Assistance given by the philanthropists, social activists and organisations . The Interest realized is being utilised for ECONOMICALLY BACKWARD MERITORIOUS BLIND STUDENTS by providing financial Assistance in addition to (a) Tape Recorders, (b) Detecting Walking Sticks, Sir, 'We the mortals are too feeble to change the course of destiny, but yet we should Endeavour to do something, So that we may say that we have not lived in vain..' Sir ,as per the medical bulletin released in T.V., by 2010 the visually impaired number will move up to 24 millions. The visually impaired students to whom trust is identifying, supporting & distributing scholarships, belongs to high merit group in education but majority of them are economically backward. Their parents are living in remote areas of a village depending on agriculture with some land .owners. Their income is not even sufficient to meet their livelihood & giving education to their children in the excising conditions has become a dream. Sir, the pressure created by the section of Blind Students who desires to seek more financial assistance from the Trust & encouraged by the Public Response, Trust formulated a Project/scheme under the Title "Literacy Mission for Blind & awareness of Educational Support". Under this scheme Trust will take care of the services of Blind Student by providing Scholarships / financial Assistance , Tape Reorders, Brail watches, Brail literature in the form of cassettes, computers, food to needy, medicines, kits, uniforms and other social welfare activities for the visually impaired students. The Trust has started to award SCHOLARSHIPS to BLIND STUDENTS not only during 2004-2005 but also during 2005-2006 & 2006-07,2007-08. So far the Trust has awarded 96 visually impaired Students of both Rural Urban areas. So, we are now appealing & requesting you Sir, to join our hands through your valuable & generous contribution to Blind students Scholarship Fund & help the blind students to pursue their further studies.
