    RUPAI SIDING is situated in the district of Tinsukia, Assam.This region is full of greenery and tea gardens extend to acres and acres.Over the decades it has seen various developments in the fields of education and industry. Many schools and colleges have come up and it isIt has got a very pleasant weather.It rains almost twelve months a year and in addition to this it rains almost the entire month of july.In the month of August it experiences very hot weather but temperature never rises above 35 degree celsius.It is my birthplace and has spent my entire childhood there.It is one of the healthiest and pollution free place in upper Assam untouched by the hustle and bustle of the city.It is very rich in biodiversity.It is said that it has got one of the oldest railway tracks which was used by the britishers to transport goods and materials.This railway track connected Dibrugarh to Dangari and runs through Rupai and hence it is a siding and came to be known as RUPAI SIDING.
