The Sprint Center is an indoor arena in Downtown Kansas City, Missouri. It is named for the telecommunications company Sprint. It has a seating capacity of 17,500 with 72 luxury boxes. It is home to the Kansas City Command of the AFL (formerly the Brigade, 2008, 2011-present).The arena also hosted the Big 12 Conference Men's Basketball Tournament in 2008 and from 2010 to 2014.
The Sprint Center was constructed from June 2005 to October 2007 at a cost of $276,000,000. It was designed by HOK Sport, Ellerbe Becket, 360 Architecture, and Rafael Architects.
