  • In mid 2007, Los Angeles County Raceway (LACR) closed it's doors forever. There is still a BMX track near the location, but the drag strip is gone. From the LACR website: Although LACR closed its doors for good at its present location on July 29th 2007, the "Antelope Valley Raceway Committee" is talking with the County of Los Angeles and local municipalities to find a "New Location" and we will keep everyone posted of our progress via this website's "Message Board" and the www.SaveLACR.com website.
  • Another one gone. This just sucks the hind preverbial.
  • Barona, Fontana Bakersfield and Vegas and that's about it, right? OCIR gone. Carlsbad gone. LACR gone. Crap--it's just not worth trailering up anymore.
