  • This is the church we I grew up in my christian faith
  • This is the church where I grew up in my christian faith, Where I met as a child Ms Pushpa Ramteke a young teenage girl at that time who loved the lord so dearly and prayed for me daily and visited me at my house in Parel and encouraged others to have prayer meeting at our home as her faith was so clear for my healing. Our lord answered her prayers and I was healed. Later I met Mrs Gorde aunty who was my sunday school teacher she directed me as a child in my walk with the lord.In my teenage years god blessed me with Rev Pradep Ahale who had a special God given gift to deal with young adults. Other than my parents who showed me how to walk the christian life I have a high regards for my three mentors from Robinson Memorial Marathi Methodist Churh. I Have many great memories from this church. Love in Christ Sanjay Chandekar. Sanjaychandekar@aol.com

  • Dear Sanjay, Lovely to be in touch with you. After reading your comments, my husband, Rajnish has informed Pushpa Ramteke as well as Pradeep Sir about your sweet memories. We do remember you - a nice, warm person. We remember you mummy, Chandekar Aunty and her lovely white sarees and sweet smiling face. She was my mother-in-law's good friend. Yes, Robinson Church is still very active. We all learnt under Gorde Aunty and now I am teaching in the same Sunday School where I was once a student. It is really lovely to serve the lord, in whatever capacity we can. May God Bless you with all happiness, peace and prosperity.
  • Dear Rajnish, Greetings. Thanks for forwarding Sanjay's comments. Your guess is right. He is brother of Samuel. I feel more burdened when people/believers/followers look to you for the consolidation of their faith in Christ. Such comments certainly encourages us and also helps us from detracting/derailing from your serving task. With regards. Revd. Pradeep P Ahaley 13th April 2011 23:41 hrs. • It’s really great to hear from you all. Let me first thank Rajnish for finding this on the net and sharing it with Pushpa Tai and Pradeep Sir. Wow! Thanks for replying to my comments from a few years back. I have such great memories from Robinson Church from Sunday school to MYF and in between VBS and my favorite month December with Christmas carol competitions and going carol singing house to house 3 nights in a row and finally dozing off sitting in the pew on Christmas morning  Varsha it’s great to know that you are teaching in Sunday school. May our Lord richly bless you! Pradeep Sir it's great to read your comments via Rajnish. Next time I visit India I will make it a point to see you. My new e-mail is sanjaychandekar@live.com Take care In Christ Sanjay.
  • Hi Atche, Thanks for your comments. I'm sorry I have not looked at Wikimapia in a while. Unfortunately I do not know Mathew family however if any of the church members know than I'm sure they will post something for you. I will send you an e-mail soon. In Christ, Sanjay.
