This bridge carries westbound Interstate 64 over the New River and County Route 27/2 (New River Road). It is a six span, steel girder and floorbeam bridge with concrete deck built in 1982. There is no direct connection between the Interstate and Route 27/2.

The bridge is named for an eighteenth century pioneer woman and captive, Mary Draper Ingles.
