The John R. Park Homestead and Conservation Area is a living history park of the mid-nineteeth century run by the Essex Region Conservation Authority (ERAC). The restored house and farm buildings of John and Amelia Park include their Classical Revival style home, built in 1842, an 1885 steam engine-powered sawmill, a blacksmith shop, a smoke house, ice house, and a barn.
