Petroliam Nasional Berhad (PETRONAS), panoramic view, footbridge
Open Hours:
Tuesday - Sunday: 9:00am - 5:00pm
(except Friday: 1:00pm - 2:30pm)
Monday: Closed
(except for Public Holidays and School Holidays: 9:00am - noon sessions)
Entrance is free, but the amount of tickets are limited to about 1600 per day and all time divided into 15 minutes slots. 40 people per slot. If you are visiting the Petronas Skybridge during a weekend, you will probably need to stand in line 30-60 minutes before they start giving out tickets. They start giving out tickets at 8:30am and the first tickets are for a 9:00am visit. The lines can be very long during the weekends.
Tip: If the lines are just way too long and you don't have many days in KL, go to the KL Tower instead. It has far better views and it hardly gets overly crowded even on weekends. It's not free though and it's harder to get to (the LRT doesn't go there). Generally, the only novelty in visiting the Petronas Skybridge is the coolness of being in a bridge suspended 170m above the city. The views are obstructed, and not as grandiose and all-around as the views from the KL Tower. Still it is rather cool and you should do it at least once in a lifetime. Have fun!
