First the residence of the manager of colombo commercial engineering then takan over to the government to accommodate two of the leaders from some other countries who came for the summit. After that this became a state guest house until minister G.L. peiris started using this as his official residence. After G.L. peiris minister Anura bandaranayeka lived here and also died here now this is currently vacant.
