  • British colonial period named as a Victoria park and after that Sri Lanka got the freedom from the British changed to Vihara Maha Devi park. Queen Vihara Maha Devi was Sri lanka one of the greatest and honorable king Dutugamunu's mother. Queen Vihara Maha Devi was very brave and strait forward Queen according to the Sri Lanka history. Vihara Maha Devi park is in the middle of the city front of Colombo Town counsel.
