Constructed in 2022 to replace and upgrade existing electrical infrastructure and to support new developments in the area, including the I-94 Industrial Park the Promenade Substation converts the circuits of three existing 4.8 kV substations to 13.2 kV circuits fed from a new 120-13.2 kV substation. The 13.2kV system has greater capacity and opportunities for additional telemetry. Lambert, Lynch, and Pulford substations will eventually be decommissioned as part of the initiative.
